I haven't been there yet so can't vouch for it or the crowd. West Seattle has a big gay population, but it is more the settled middle age couples with very nicely decorated houses subset of gays. Mostly) But, there are a few areas that are gayer than others: Even Capitol Hill is more 50% gay 50% hipster and doesn't feel as exuberantly gay as some other cities' ghey-ttoes (or as much as it used to before all the damn straights came and shat it up.
High gay population but not as centralized-feeling. One of the downsides of the city being so accepting, I guess. Seattle has a TON of gays, but not very many gay pockets.
